Big Leo energy indeeed 🤪😜 I blinked and my first baby is 6 years old today! And while the 364 days of her countdown reminders drove me insane, I love celebrating her most favorite day of the year in the sweetest most special ways. Happy happy birthday Penelope Nicole 🧁 Mommy adores you and loves you from the depths of her soul, forever and always! 🙌🏾🎉

Oh my, oh me, what a year 33 🎈

You know how some years are for blooming and others are for pruning? This last year definitely felt a little more pruny lol with that said, beautifully enough, I feel like a better human and really adore who I’m becoming.

Where I spent less time connecting with people socially, I’ve read more than I ever had in my entire life. While I didn’t get to run a race I spent months training for, I grew more confident in my ability to physically commit. When it sucked accepting change in some of my friendships, I was gifted confirmation that my time spent learning me is often more rewarding. While my heart broke releasing an angel baby I was baking back to Jesus, my faith and trust and contentment in his will grew so much stronger. While the storms of doubt fear and uncertainty grew thick, I became a believer and achiever in therapy again. And while I found parenting to be the absolute most emotionally challenging it’s ever been this year, my babies remind me daily why being their mommy is the gift that keeps on giving.

And to my man, who’s held my hand, wiped my tears, cheered me on, gassed me up, and reminded me who I am and whose I am daily, you’re forever my MVP @champagnepopmi .

Turns out, I actually like pruning years. I walk out of them feeling like a damn BOSS. And the cool thing about pruning season, is that blooming season follows shortly after 👏🏾🙌🏾
